What does a veterinary practice broker actually do for me?
A veterinary practice broker represents you through the entire sale: valuing the practice, preparing the data room, taking it to a competitive set of buyers, negotiating the offers, and guiding the transaction to closing — while keeping the process confidential from your staff and clients until you decide otherwise.
Selling a veterinary practice is not one decision. It is several hundred, spread over four to eight months, most of which you have never had to make before and will never have to make again. Our job is to have made them all before, many times, on behalf of somebody else.
We handle the sale end to end. We sign a mutual non-disclosure before you tell us anything. We build the data room. Our in-house analyst underwrites the practice so we know what it is worth before a buyer tells us what they think it is worth. We take it to the market, manage the questions, negotiate the letters of intent against each other, and stay with you through closing.
What we do not do is list your practice publicly. There is no sign in the window and no listing anyone can browse. Buyers see a generic profile first — a practice of roughly this size, in roughly this region — and see nothing identifying until they have signed a current non-disclosure.
